Photo‐Assisted Zn‐Iodine Battery via Bifunctional Cathode with Iodine Host and Solar Response Boost

A bifunctional cathode based on BiOI materials is developed for photo‐assisted Zn‐iodine batteries, serving as both an iodine host and a solar‐responsive material. This design enables dual reaction routes involving vacancy‐based iodine storage and reversible two steps iodine redox.

Saturation Magnetization of Inorganic/polymer Nanocomposites Higher than That of Their Inorganic Magnetic Component [PDF]

Herein, some magnetic nanoparticles (MNP)/clay/polymer nanocomposites have been prepared, whose saturation magnetization is higher than that of pure oleic acid coated MNP component. The existence of unique 'nano-network' structure and tight three-phase nano-interface in the nanocomposites contribute to the surprising saturation magnetization.

Virus‐Assembled Biofunctional Microarrays with Hierarchical 3D Nano‐Reticular Network

Virus‐assembled microdots with a wrinkled pattern induced by the high‐pressure carbon dioxide method show a morphology similar to sunflowers. Abstract Three‐dimensional (3D) hierarchical wrinkled materials built with biological entities have so far remained exclusive to nature.
