Paper chromatography of inorganic ions
Analytica Chimica Acta, 1953Abstract Paper chromatography was employed for the separation of radioactive carrier-free isotopes from large amounts of inactive materials. The separations described are Na-Mg, Rh-Fe, Pd-Rh. Co-Fe, Zn-Cu and U-Pa.

Centrifugally accelerated paper chromatography of inorganic ions
Journal of Chromatography A, 1963Abstract Centrifugally accelerated paper chromatography has been applied to the separations of inorganic ions. A study has been made of the various factors which favour good and reproducible fractionation. A comparative study of the separation of Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Mn(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) by this procedure and by ascending chromatography is ...

Paper electro-chromatography of inorganic substance
Analytica Chimica Acta, 1952Abstract Electro-migration inside filter paper is influenced by the movement of the solvent in the paper, adsorption on the paper and the potential applied. Numerous separations of mixtures are possible. Details for the separation of the copper group and Fe, Ni and Co are described.

Paper chromatography in inorganic qualitative analysis
Talanta, 1964Abstract A two-dimensional paper chromatographic method for the separation and identification of several metal ions is described. After preparation, the sample is run with an ethanol:hydrochloric acid : water (75:20:5) mixture, and later in a second dimension with a tetrahydrofuran : nitric acid : water (85:5:10) mixture.

Adsorption paper chromatography of inorganic substances
Journal of Chromatography A, 1961Summary Some of the compounds of Sn(II) with platinum metals may be separated by adsorption chromatography on paper. Their behaviour in SnCl 2 -HCl and SnBr 2 HBr was noted.

Partition paper chromatography of inorganic ions
Journal of Chromatography A, 1976Abstract The partition paper chromatography of a series of ethylenediamine, dipyridyl and ortho-phenanthroline complexes of cobalt(III) has been studied with butanol-acid-water solvent mixtures. The rather unusual properties of tris(propylenediamine)-cobalt(III) are discussed.

Inorganic Nanomaterials for the Deacidification of Paper
2013The conservation of manuscripts and books is one of the most challenging issues in conservation science, because the organic biomolecule of cellulose is susceptible to rapid degradation as a result of the combination of several factors, both environmental and connected with the papermaking techniques that have been used since the end of the 19th ...
