Fast protein and metabolite liquid chromatography (FPLMC) was introduced years ago to enable the easy separation of high-molecular compounds such as proteins from small molecules and the identification of the low-molecular substances.

Increased Adenine Nucleotide Degradation in Skeletal Muscle Atrophy [PDF]
Adenine nucleotides (AdNs: ATP, ADP, AMP) are essential biological compounds that facilitate many necessary cellular processes by providing chemical energy, mediating intracellular signaling, and regulating protein metabolism and solubilization.

Upregulation of inducible NO synthase by exogenous adenosine in vascular smooth muscle cells activated by inflammatory stimuli in experimental diabetes [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Adenosine has been shown to induce nitric oxide (NO) production via inducible NO synthase (iNOS) activation in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). Although this is interpreted as a beneficial vasodilating pathway in vaso-occlusive disorders,

NMR — SPECTROSCOPY TECHNIQUE FOR SALMON FISH SPECIES QUALITY ASSESSMENT
NMR-spectroscopy was used for development of the criteria which characterize the chilled and frozen fish quality. It has been shown that 1H-NMR experiments can be used as quality factor to measure the concentration of inosine, hypoxanthine and inosine-5’-

Nutritional value of black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) larvae processed by different methods.
Nutritional value of black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) larvae (BSFL) processed by three different methods of treatment was compared. The resulting products were the spray-dried BSFL (SPR), oven-dried BSFL 1 (OVN1) and oven-dried BSFL 2 (OVN2 ...

Different characteristics and nucleotide binding properties of inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) isoforms. [PDF]
We recently reported that Inosine Monophosphate Dehydrogenase (IMPDH), a rate-limiting enzyme in de novo guanine nucleotide biosynthesis, clustered into macrostructures in response to decreased nucleotide levels and that there were differences between ...

Structure ofPseudomonas aeruginosainosine 5′-monophosphate dehydrogenase [PDF]
Inosine 5'-monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) represents a potential antimicrobial drug target. The crystal structure of recombinant Pseudomonas aeruginosa IMPDH has been determined to a resolution of 2.25 Å. The structure is a homotetramer of subunits dominated by a (β/α)8-barrel fold, consistent with other known structures of IMPDH.
