Activity scheduling on acute inpatient wards

This case study suggests that activity scheduling is a useful therapeutic intervention that nurses can effectively be trained in and deliver on psychiatric wards. The role of prequalified psychologists in delivering such training is discussed, alongside the therapeutic role of nurses.
