Alternative Input-Output Matrix Updating Formulations
Economic Systems Research, 2004There has been a recent resurgence of interest in biproportional adjustment methods for updating and interpreting change in matrix representations of regional structures, most commonly input-output accounts. Although the biproportional method, commonly called the RAS technique in the input-output literature, has been shown to have a number of ...

System matrix characterization of input-output equivalence
International Journal of Control, 1990The notion of input-output equivalence is defined and its characterization in system matrix terms is given.

An input-output matrix as a spatial configuration
Economics of Planning, 1970In input-output research comparatively little work has been done on the ordering of sectors. As the sectors can be ordered more or less arbitrarily, this has been left generally to the prevalent systems of national accounts and other economic data. The traditional data systems thus rather than any specific lcgic seems to have determined such procedures.

Input-Output Pairing based on Cross-Gramian Matrix
2006 SICE-ICASE International Joint Conference, 2006Decentralized control is a well established approach to the control of multivariable plants. In this approach, control structure design and in particular input-output pairing is a vital stage in the design procedure. There are several methods such as RGA, Balanced-Realization, Hankel-norm based and gramian based approach to select the appropriate input/

Web service composition using input/output dependency matrix
Proceedings of the 3rd workshop on Agent-oriented software engineering challenges for ubiquitous and pervasive computing, 2009Composition of web services has received increased interest with emerging application development architecture-Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Doing composition (semi-) automatically is a crucial aspect in overcoming runtime problems that arise due to dynamic nature of runtime environment.

An Input-Output Matrix for Ellis County
2023Widespread interest usually exists as to the effect of a college or university on the economy of a local area. The author shares this interest; thus, the primary goal of this thesis was to quantitatively determine the impact that Fort Hays Kansas State College has on the economy of Ellis County.

Parallel input/output impact on sparse matrix compression
Proceedings of Data Compression Conference - DCC '96, 2002Sparse matrices efficiently store structured information, particularly when represented in compressed formats. The advantages of using compressed formats rather than expanded representations are reduced storage space and faster computation achieved by avoiding processing the zero elements.

Frequency Response Matrix Estimation From Missing Input–Output Data
IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2015Frequency response matrix (FRM) estimation is an important preprocessing step in system identification. This nonparametric step can give a quick insight into the behavior of a dynamic system without making too many assumptions. Sensor failures or faulty communication links make the measurement data go missing.

Matrix-Based Input-Output Process Modeling
IISE Annual Conference & Expo 2024Matrix-based input-output methods are commonly used to model the economic linkages between industries within an economy. Effectively, they describe the flow of dollars or widgets between value-adding processes. This framework is also applicable to manufacturing processes.

Evolution of an Input-Output Leontief Matrix
1978This paper considers the evolution of a sequence of input-output Leontief matrix. We consider three methods: one based on the estimation of parameters of a differential equation; another by least-squares approximation; a third one based on factorial analysis. We compare the results obtained.
