Prices and Demands for Input Characteristics
American Journal of Agricultural Economics, 1976AbstractPrice of an input equals the sum of the money values of the input's characteristics to the purchaser; money value of each of an input's characteristics equals the input's yield of the characteristic multiplied by the money value of one unit of the characteristic. Demand for an input is affected by the input's characteristics.

Characteristics of the Multiple-Input DC–DC Converter
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2004In the zero-emission electric power generation system, a multiple-input DC-DC converter is useful to obtain the regulated output voltage from several input power sources such as a solar array, wind generator, fuel cell, and so forth. A new multiple-input DC-DC converter is proposed and analyzed.

Analog input device physical characteristics
ACM SIGCHI Bulletin, 1993When selecting a device, a designer should compare alternative devices point-by-point. When making a tentative decision, one needs to know what other possibilities have been locked out. A classification graph does this.New here is this classification graph.

Input-output characteristics for imaged transducers
IEEE Journal on Robotics and Automation, 1986An image processor used as a position transducer is treated on an input-output basis. If processing speed is sufficiently fast the input-output characteristic is independent of frequency and can be represented as a gain function. The input is a function of the image pattern (including intensity if grey level is used) and the output is used for control ...

Characteristics of pressure-based input for mobile devices
Proceedings of the SIGCHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, 2010We conducted a series of user studies to understand and clarify the fundamental characteristics of pressure in user interfaces for mobile devices. We seek to provide insight to clarify a longstanding discussion on mapping functions for pressure input.

Animal characteristics are needed for calculation of nutrient requirements and IC for both cows and growing cattle. Information on animal parameters, such as BW, is also needed when calculating ruminal variables, such as passage rates of feed fractions out of the rumen and efficiency of microbial protein synthesis.

Input/output characteristics of scalable parallel applications
Proceedings of the 1995 ACM/IEEE conference on Supercomputing (CDROM) - Supercomputing '95, 1995Rapid increases in computing and communication performance are exacerbating the long-standing problem of performance-limited input/output. Indeed, for many otherwise scalable parallel applications. input/output is emerging as a major performance bottleneck.

Input characteristics of the capacitor-input rectifier filter
International Journal of Electronics, 1986An extension of the fundamental theory of the capacitor-filter rectifier is presented. Expressions are obtained for the calculation of input power factor. Single-phase and three-phase circuits are considered. The input power factor is shown to be leading.

Response characteristics of a neuron model to a periodic input
Kybernetik, 1974A mathematical neuron model defined by a difference equation was investigated when it was exposed to an environment of a periodic input stimulus. It is shown that pulse sequences constructed in advance by a particular method are actually realizable as the output of the system and the condition for the output sequence is also obtained with respect to ...
