Identification of Modal Parameters with Unknown Input
2003The techniques developed for structural identification are typically devoted to obtain a structural model on the base of information on the response and on the forcing action. In many situations, however, it can be necessary to refer only to the measured responses.

INPUT-MULTIPLICITY IN LUMPED-PARAMETER SYSTEMS
Chemical Engineering Communications, 1985Input multiplicity is a situation in which different inputs can give the same output. In this work we identify the conditions leading to input multiplicity and present an efficient technique for dividing the parameter space into regions with different number of input states as well as with different types of bifurcation diagrams.

Determining input parameters under process uncertainties
International Journal of Production Economics, 1993Abstract In many industrial operations, certain proportions for the output quantities or dimensions have to be maintained. Due to process uncertainties, the resulting output proportions deviate from the desired target levels. In this paper, a model for selecting the levels of input parameters (dimensions or quantities) which minimize the economic ...

Input parameters for estimating seismic loading
Natural Hazards, 1990The estimation of seismic loading requires both the featuring of the seismotectonic environment as well as a prognosis of site-specific strong ground-motion parameters. Due to the long recurrence times of larger events, there is a lack of high quality strong motion recordings at many sites.

Radio-related input parameters
2008The ITU spectrum calculation methodology for the future development of IMT-2000 and IMT-Advanced includes input parameters which characterize the radio technology related issues of existing, emerging and future wireless systems. Radio related issues about IMT-Advanced for the spectrum calculation methodology are presented in Report ITU-R M.2074, where ...

Input parameter measurement techniques for high input impedance dc amplifiers
Proceedings of the IEEE, 1969Techniques for measuring the input parameters of very high input impedance dc amplifiers are described, including a method for separating out the input current and input conductance. Results obtained from a set of measurements are used to demonstrate the techniques.

Multiple input orthogonal polynomial parameter estimation
Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, 1987The object of this paper is the development of a so-called global modal parameter estimation technique capable of analyzing frequency response functions (FRFs) between several input and response stations simultaneously. The technique analyses the FRFs in their natural domain, the frequency domain.

Input Parameters of Discrete Element Methods
Journal of Engineering Mechanics, 2006This paper presents a sensitivity analysis of the input parameters of a program based on the discrete element method (DEM). Triaxial compression simulations were conducted on an assembly of ellipsoids with two particle shapes. We examine four input parameters including shear modulus of particles, density of particles, time step, and damping. Generally,

Input Parameters for DEM – Bulk Material
2019The accuracy of each simulation calculation strongly depends on the accuracy of measured input data. It is necessary to ensure that these input values are the same in simulation as in reality. The data input in DEM fall into three groups:

We present a method of estimating the input parameters and through them, the input synchrony, of a stochastic leaky integrate-and-fire neuronal model based on the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process when it is driven by time-dependent sinusoidal input signal and noise.
