ABSTRACT In Australia, governments fund Community Legal Centres (CLCs) as part of the legal assistance sector (LAS) to meet the ‘legal needs’ of people experiencing disadvantage who cannot afford private legal services. Persistent unmet demand for CLCs is well‐documented. As artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly used in private legal practice to

Inquisitive Modal Logic: A Preview
AbstractThroughout this book, we have emphasized different ways in which questions are relevant in logic. We saw that questions can be seen as names for types of information, and that by generalizing logic to questions we can capture logical relations holding between information types. We also saw that in the inquisitive setting, a more general account

Selection method for inquisitive modal logic [PDF]
The selection method is one of the methods to prove that various modal logics have the finite model property. For a given formula that is satisfiable in some model, we select a finite tree-like submodel, while preserving the satisfiability of the observed formula. In this paper, we adapt the selection method for the inquisitive modal logic InqML.

Abstract A recent debate has emerged between Caspar et al. (2024) and Herculano‐Houzel (2023) on inferring extinct dinosaur cognition by estimating brain neuron counts. While thought‐provoking, the discussion largely overlooks the function of cognition, as well as partly neglects the difficulties involved in estimating neuron numbers, which according ...

Abstract It is likely existing anatomical illustrations are often used as the basis for new illustrative works, given not all illustrators have access to human tissues, bodies, or prosections on which to base their illustrations. Potential issues arise with this practice in the realms of copyright infringement and plagiarism when authors are seeking to

Abstract Neurosurgical residency training requires advanced spatial cognition and 3D anatomical understanding, which traditional methods often fail to adequately develop. This study evaluated a novel educational model integrating 3D Slicer and 3D printing technology to enhance imaging spatial cognition and clinical reasoning among neurosurgery ...

Designing and evaluating a neuroanatomy learning experience using multiple external representations
Abstract Neuroanatomy is challenging, requiring multiple external representations (MER) for comprehension. While studies have examined individual representations of neuroanatomy, a gap remains in understanding how students link across MER, especially between technology‐generated representations with everyday experiences.

Abstract Caste—an ascriptive social hierarchy in South Asia and its diaspora—is a globalized phenomenon. Recent caste‐based discrimination, particularly in technology companies and anti‐caste efforts to address it, has compelled academia, policy, and the technology industry to better understand contemporary mechanics of caste.

Abstract This review analyzed 241 scholarly articles published between 2010 and 2025 in information science venues to examine how affect shapes refugees' information behavior during forced migration and to identify additional contextual factors. It identifies seven affective dimensions: anxiety, shame and stigma, grief and loss, frustration, (mis)trust,
