Attention! 'Might' in Inquisitive Semantics
This paper points out that the notion of meaning propounded by inquisitive semantics is not only suited to capture both informative and inquisitive content, but also a sentence’s potential to draw attention to certain possibilities. This gives rise to a novel analysis of 'might'.

Raising and resolving issues with scalar modifiers
We argue that the superlative modifiers at least and at most quantify over a scale of answers to the current question under discussion (and in this sense, resolve issues), and that they draw attention to the individual possibilities along the scale (and ...

Dynamic inquisitive semantics—looking ahead and looking back
We thank all commentators for their thoughtful contributions. Our response is divided into two sections. Section 1 looks ahead, discussing some of the open issues identified by the commentators for dynamic inquisitive semantics and tentatively suggesting how these issues may be addressed in future extensions and refinements of the framework.

Propositional inquisitive logic: a survey [PDF]
This paper provides a concise survey of a body of recent work on propositional inquisitive logic. We review the conceptual foundations of inquisitive semantics, introduce the propositional system, discuss its relations with classical, intuitionistic, and

A first-order inquisitive semantics [PDF]
Abstract Chapter 4 defines an inquisitive semantics for the language of firstorder logic, which includes the logical connectives (conjunction, disjunction, negation, and implication) as well as universal and existential quantifiers. The semantics of these connectives and quantifiers is given in terms of the algebraic operations on ...

Bisimulation Quotient in Inquisitive Modal Logic
Inquisitive modal logic InqML⊞ is a natural generalization of basic modal logic, with ⊞ as a primitive modal operator. In this paper, we study the bisimulation quotients in the logic InqML⊞.
