Nanomaterials for Allergy Diagnosis and Treatment: Advances, Opportunities and Translational Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nanomaterials offer dual applications in allergy management. For diagnosis, nanomaterials enhance analytical sensitivity and improve detection in specific IgE and functional assays such as the basophil activation test (BAT). For allergen‐specific immunotherapy, nanomaterials enable allergen masking and controlled release, and effectively modulate the ...

Oxime Ethers: New Potent Insect Growth Regulators

open access: yesAgricultural and Biological Chemistry, 1985
Oxime ethers containing a 4-phenoxyphenoxy group in the molecules were synthesized and their insect growth regulating (IGR) activities were studied. Of these new IGR’s, propionaldehyde oxime O-2-(4-phenoxyphenoxy)ethyl ether and propionaldehyde oxime O-2-(4-phenoxy-phenoxy)propyl ether were found to be most effective, having much higher activities than

Pericentrosomal Redistribution of the Endoplasmic Reticulum Ensures Organelle Symmetric Inheritance and Mitotic Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Upon mitotic entry, RTN4 relocalizes to the pericentrosomal region, forming a more tubular ER network around centrosomes. CDK1‐mediated phosphorylation of RTN4 increases its interaction with Rab11 GTPase, facilitating dynein‐dependent transport of RTN4 to the pericentrosomal region.

Multigeneration effects of insect growth regulators on the springtail Folsomia candida

open access: yesEcotoxicology and Environmental Safety, 2007
Multigeneration tests are very useful for the assessment of long term toxicity of pollutants such as endocrine disruptor compounds. In this study, multigeneration reproduction tests adapted from the ISO standard 11267 were conducted with the Collembola Folsomia candida.

Single‐Cell and Spatial Transcriptomics Unveil Key Regulators Governing Cell Differentiation for Schistosoma japonicum Sexual Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using single‐cell and spatial transcriptomics, we identified key regulators that govern cell differentiation involved in parasite development and egg laying in Schistosoma japonicum. This comprehensive study establishes a foundational resource for understanding schistosome biology, deciphers the regulatory programs underlying cell differentiation and ...

A Disulfide‐Sticker Strategy for Marine Adhesive Coatings: From Deciphering Self‐Assembly Mechanism to Functional Application in Hair Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A disulfide‐sticker strategy, coupled with Ca2+ coordination, drives the hierarchical self‐assembly of a recombinant scallop adhesive protein into fishnet‐like nanostructures, affording a coating with versatile wet adhesion and intrinsic antioxidant activity. This biocompatible coating markedly promotes hair regeneration by activating follicular niches,
