This study investigates laser shock peening for enhancing fatigue performance of riveted aerospace aluminum joints. A comparative approach with cold expansion combines fatigue testing and synchrotron X‐ray methods. Integrating mechanical testing with residual stress and strain characterization provides insights into how different treatments affect the ...

The Most Economical Sequential Sampling Scheme for Inspection by Variables
Summary The two-point prior distribution of Barnard (1954) is used and leads to a method for calculating most economical sampling schemes for variables. An example is worked out where observations on items are normally distributed, and an application is given to determining most economical sampling schemes for group sequential sampling ...

Pengaruh Pencahayaan, Posisi Kerja Dan Gender Terhadap Produktivitas Visual Inspection Task [PDF]
Visual inspection task is the inspection activity of a product with the eye position centered over the moving conveyor, the faster the product is produced, the more critical the time of the inspection operator. The conditions in the long term will result

An Inkjet‐Printed Platinum‐Based Temperature Sensing Element on Polyimide Substrates
An inkjet‐printed, meander‐structured, nanoparticle platinum‐based resistive temperature sensors on polyimide substrates are demonstrated as proof‐of‐concept. Optimized sintering at 250°C enables stable conductive structures. The Pt100‐ and Pt1000‐type sensors exhibit linear resistance–temperature characteristics with stable TCR in the 20°C–80°C range,

The work demonstrates that strategic wall‐thickness grading in diamond triply periodic minimal surface lattices enables precise tuning of deformation and failure behavior under compression. Different gradation patterns guide how and where the structure collapses, improving energy absorption or promoting controlled brittle failure.
