A method of dynamic calibration for installation error of radar payload

The Fourth International Workshop on Advanced Computational Intelligence, 2011
In order to eliminate the effects of radar payload installation error to the degree of accuracy of radar payload detection, a dynamic calibration method of radar measurement data compensation is put forward. This method based on the dynamic calibration principle, deduced the formulae of radar payload installation error identification, and error dynamic

Practical Metrics for Error Assessment with Interactive Museum Installations

2015
Many modern museum exhibits employ interactive digital installations that can display content on large public surfaces, such as tabletops, walls, floors, etc. Recently, such displays have begun to include special devices that are able to track the user position and thus offer a personalized rendering with respect to the user point of view.

A method to calibrate installation orientation errors of inertial sensors for gait analysis

2014 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation (ICIA), 2014
Gait analysis by using wearable inertial sensors has gained tremendous achievements in recent years. A limitation of using inertial measurement unit (IMU) is that inertial signals heavily rely on the correctness of sensor installation. A slight installation orientation error could lead to inaccurate results for quantitative estimation of gait ...

Influence of Installation Tension on Transmission Error Due to Resonance in a Synchronous Belt

Journal of Mechanical Design, 2014
In synchronous belt drives, a transmission error is generated due to resonance of the belt spanning the driving and driven pulleys when the transverse natural frequency of the belt approaches the meshing frequency of the belt and the pulley teeth. The behavior of this transmission error has been assumed to be dependent on the installation tension.
