A 4‐layer Kevlar‐based composite is fabricated by combining ultrasonic spraying and electrostatic flocking. Carbon black dispersion is first deposited onto Kevlar fabric to create a conductive electrode. Nylon fibers are then electrostatically flocked onto the coated fabric, forming a dielectric layer.

Instantaneous frequency estimation . . .
This paper explores the method of reassignment for extracting instantaneous frequency attributes from seismic data. The reassignment method was rst applied to the spectrogram by Kodera, Gendrin and de Villedary [5] and later generalized to any bilinear ...

Upscaling Pulsed Laser Fragmentation in Liquids by Advanced Free‐Flow Setups
Advanced flow setups providing thin colloid films are introduced to upscale pulsed laser fragmentation in liquids for sustainable nanoparticle synthesis. Their potential is demonstrated by yielding remarkably small ZnO nanoparticles of <7 nm. Numerical simulations complement the study, revealing that the superior performance can be attributed to ...

Low‐Pressure Plasma‐Based Wrinkling of PDMS and Machine Learning‐Driven Property Engineering
Wrinkled surfaces are well‐suited for controlled surface deformations in the µm range. The key challenge is the relation between the resulting wrinkle features and the necessary process conditions. Machine learning techniques have solved the prediction and inverse design problems for various preparation conditions, opening a precisely controlled ...

Instantaneous Frequency Estimation in Unbalanced Systems Using Affine Differential Geometry [PDF]
The paper discusses the relationships between electrical and affine differential geometry quantities, establishing a link between frequency and time derivatives of voltage, through the utilization of affine geometric invariants. Based on this link, a new

Instantaneous Frequency Estimation via Spectrogram Projection and P-Spline Approximation
Frequency Modulated (FM) signals are usually characterized by two or more components having different waveforms and time-dependent frequencies. The estimation of the instantaneous frequency (IF) represents a very challenging topic when there are two or ...

Laser‐Induced Local De‐Doping in Organic Semiconductors
The polymer PBTTT‐C14 doped with the small molecule acceptor F4TCNQ is considered as a benchmark material system. Mask‐free, microscale patterning of the doping level via laser‐induced heating and sublimation of dopant molecules is shown. Controlling laser irradiance and swath spacing allows dopant level control with laser‐limited resolution, opening ...
