On General Solution for Fractional Differential Equations with Not Instantaneous Impulses
Fundamenta Informaticae, 2017In this paper we mainly study a kind of fractional differential equations with not instantaneous impulses, and find the equivalent equations of the impulsive system. The obtained result discovers that there exist general solution for the impulsive system. Next, an example is given to illustrate the obtained result.

In our physics course for liberal-arts students, “Galileo to Newton and Beyond,” students read literature of the period and do many experiments that relate directly to the history of physics. One such experiment concerns instantaneous impulses, where we extend Newton’s instantaneous-impulse method of orbital analysis to a graphical method of orbit ...

Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2021
We discuss a class of p‐Laplacian fractional differential equations with instantaneous and non‐instantaneous impulsive boundary conditions. The existence of an unbounded sequence of weak solutions is given by a recent critical point theory proposed by Bonanno and Bisci. At the end, an example is presented to illustrate our main results.

Instantaneous impulses in multibody dynamics
Mathematics and Mechanics of Solids, 2015This paper considers instantaneous impulses in multibody dynamics. Instantaneous impulses may act on the multibody from its exterior or they may appear in its interior as a consequence of two of its parts interacting by an impact imposed by a unilateral constraint.

PATHOLOGICALLY IMPULSIVE REACTION AND INSTANTANEOUS PERPETRATION OF A DOUBLE CRIME WITH A FIREARM
South Florida Journal of Health, 2022For Barratt et al. (1997), impulsivity is defined as a predisposition to carry out quick, non-reflective actions in response to internal and/or external stimuli despite the negative consequences that these could have for the person as well as for third parties (Moeller et al., 2001).

Change in Impulse Response of Heart Rate to Instantaneous Lung Volume
Methods of Information in Medicine, 1994Abstract:A method is presented that relates the heart rate variability (HRV) to the change in instantaneous lung volume (ILV) under non-stationary conditions. Methods utilizing a recursive least squares (RLS) algorithm and a modified Widrow LMS algorithm are proposed to keep track of changes in impulse response of HRV to ILV.
