From Nominalisation to Passive in Old Tibetan: Reconstructing Grammatical Meaning in an Extinct Language

open access: yesTransactions of the Philological Society, Volume 124, Issue 2, Page 314-356, July 2026.

Aging Enhances Serotonergic Signaling via 5‐HT7 Receptors Underlying Mechanical Alloknesis

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 7, July 2026.
Aging selectively enhances mechanical alloknesis. This is associated with altered systemic serotonin homeostasis and increased 5‐HT7 receptor expression in dorsal root ganglion neurons and spinal dorsal horn (laminae III–IV). Pharmacological inhibition of serotonergic signaling attenuates itch behavior.

A Large‐Area Broadband Multimodal Dual‐Resonant Haptic Device for Bidirectional Telerobotic and Augmented Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 34, 19 June 2026.
We present a large‐area bidirectional human–machine interface integrating electrostatic multimodal tactile sensing with a dual‐resonant haptic actuator. The system enables linear pressure sensing that is decoupled from actuation and stable broadband vibrotactile feedback under dynamic contact conditions, supporting real‐time feedback modulation aligned

Wildlife Roadkill in Chitwan, Nepal: Identifying Affected Species, Potential Drivers and Hotspots

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 6, June 2026.
A total of 618 cases involving 36 species of wild vertebrates were reported on sections of National Highways H01 and H05. Comparatively, species richness in road kills was higher on highway H01 (n = 343) than on H05 (n = 275). The road sections that cross between forests, forest edges, and residential areas consistently increase the number of ...
