Individual Differences and Task Complexity in Second Language Writing: A Methodological Review
ABSTRACT This article provides a methodological review of empirical studies on second language (L2) writing and task complexity that have investigated the role of learner individual differences (IDs) in L2 writing processes and outcomes. Thirty journal articles published between 2005 and 2025 were coded for key theoretical, methodological (including ID

Substrate scope of ancestral versus modern family‐1 glycosidases
Abstract Experimental studies support that protein engineering based on ancestral sequence reconstruction often leads to variants with biotechnologically useful biomolecular properties. These may include high stability, enhanced conformational flexibility and a modified catalysis range.

Biocompatible Hydrogenated Graphene Interfaces Promote Axonal Regeneration
Hydrogenated graphene promotes neuronal regrowth and network reconnection after injury while minimizing astroglial activation, unlike pristine graphene. The findings reveal how atomic‐scale surface chemistry governs neural repair, establishing functionalized graphene as a promising platform for neuroregenerative interfaces.

Abstract Premise Insect herbivory is a major biotic factor shaping plant populations and driving the evolution of defensive traits. Polyploidy (whole‐genome duplication) often induces substantial phenotypic and genotypic changes that may affect species interactions, including herbivory.

This study characterises carbonate mineral precipitation mechanisms and their paleoenvironmental implications in a semi‐arid, saline playa lake system. SEM image with EDS spectra shows microcrystalline, spherical shaped dolomite crystals from Laguna Fuente de Piedra composed of nanocrystals with bacterial voids and EPS.
