Dynamic Spillovers Between FinTech, Blockchain, and Green Finance: A Quantile Connectedness Approach

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper explores how financial innovation and environmental sustainability intersect by analyzing spillovers between FinTech, blockchain energy use, and green finance. Using a Quantile Vector Autoregression (QVAR) framework, we examine weekly data from 2018 to 2024 across 11 digital, environmental, and macro‐financial indices.

Degradation Assessment of In-Service Transformer Oil Based on Electrical and Chemical Properties

open access: yesApplied Sciences
In order to ensure the long-term reliability and safety of power transformers, it is important to continuously monitor the characteristics of insulating oil, which not only helps in understanding its behavior over time but also ensures the safety of the ...

From Material Tensions to Organizational Paradoxes: How Manufacturers Cope With the Limits of Circular Product Design

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Circular product design (CPD) is central to advancing the circular economy by enabling the narrowing, slowing, and closing of resource flows. Yet, its implementation remains persistently challenging for firms. Prior research has largely framed these challenges as discrete barriers, overlooking the structural contradictions embedded in CPD ...

Can Credit Rating Changes Affect Corporate Carbon Emissions? Some Evidence From the S&P 500

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Using panel data on US S&P 500 firms from 2012 to 2024, this study examines how credit rating changes affect corporate carbon performance. Drawing on the resource‐based view and prospect theory, we show that credit rating downgrades lead to a statistically and economically significant deterioration in emission reduction scores.

Do Commodity Prices and Energy Markets Drive Asymmetric Volatility in Biodiversity Finance?

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines symmetric and asymmetric volatility spillovers among biodiversity finance, commodity prices, and energy markets using daily data from 2019 to 2025. We apply the Diebold–Yilmaz time–domain connectedness model, Baruník–Křehlík frequency–domain decomposition, and an asymmetric spillover framework.

Diffusion characteristics of multi-component gases in gas to liquid insulating oil via molecular dynamics analysis

open access: yes电力工程技术
In power transformers, insulating oil deteriorates continuously due to aging, overheating, discharge, and other factors, accompanied by the production of characteristic gases such as H2, CH4, C2H2, C2H4, C2H6, and varying degrees of diffusion within the ...
