Volume of Treatment of Temporomandibular Disorders in Adults—A Nationwide Register‐Based Observation of Private Oral Healthcare in Finland in 2006–2024

This study established a long‐term picture of TMD treatment in private oral healthcare; the data covered approximately 56 500 TMD patients per year from 2006 to 2024. TMD patients constituted 4.1%–6.7% of all patients; 13.9% of TMD patients received splint therapy, most commonly among younger adults.
