Omega Ambiguity Resolution Through Direct Integer Laning
Navigation, 1976In multi-frequency omega navigation systems, it is desirable to have the wide lanes of the beat frequency without sacrificing the higher resolution of the original frequencies. Many schemes are available for doing this such as operation on difference frequencies until the system is within a small lane and then switching to the original frequency. Also,

New Approach for Integer Ambiguity Resolution using Interval Analysis
Navigation, 2008: A new algorithm is proposed for resolving the integer ambiguities encountered in GNSS carrier phase observations. The algorithm is based on Interval Analysis, which deals with computations on intervals of numbers instead of crisp numbers. The advantage of optimization algorithms using interval analysis is that they will detect all solutions within a ...

Direct Ambiguity Resolution Using Integer Nonlinear Programming Methods
1996This paper presents a new and efficient strategy for ambiguity resolution on the fly. The new approach is based on the method of Integer Nonlinear Programming (INLP). After discussing some typical methods for INLP, ambiguity resolution of GPS phase measurements based on the Integer Least-Squares Method (ILSM) is formulated as a problem of INLP.

Integer ambiguity resolution for GPS based attitude determination system
Proceedings of the 37th SICE Annual Conference. International Session Papers, 2002The attitude of a vehicle can be precisely determined using GPS (Global Positioning System) carrier phase measurements from more than two antennas attached to the vehicle with properly applied efficient integer ambiguity resolution technique. Many methods utilizing the known baseline length as a constraint have been proposed to resolve integer ...

Rapid ambiguity resolution for kinematic gps based on integer constraints
Electronics and Communications in Japan (Part I: Communications), 1996AbstractThe kinematic GPS is a method in which the positioning with an accuracy of several centimeters is realized using continuous tracking by a mobile user for the phase of the carrier sent from the GPS satellite. In the mobile positioning system based on the carrier phase, there exists a phase bias uncertainty (ambiguity) corresponding to the ...
