A branch-and-price algorithm for a hierarchical crew scheduling problem. [PDF]
We describe a real-life problem arising at a crane rental company. This problem is a generalization of the basic crew scheduling problem given in Mingozzi et al. and Beasley and Cao.

In this work, low‐resolution infrared imaging is combined with a 28 nm FeFET IMC architecture to enable compact, energy‐efficient edge inference. MLC FeFET devices are experimentally characterized, and controlled multi‐level current accumulation is validated at crossbar array level.

Super magical Partitions of an Integer
Let n≥2 be an integer and Pn={p1,p2,…,pr} be a set of r≥2 partitions of n satisfying the following conditions: (i) in each pi the integers are all distinct, and (ii) any two distinct pi's have at most one part in common. Further, the set Pn is called a supermagical configuration of n and of order p if it satisfies ⋃rj=1pj={1,2,…,p ...

Learning regime‐dependent governing equations: A symbolic decision tree approach
Abstract Many chemical engineering systems are governed by mechanisms that switch across operating regimes, making the data‐driven discovery of regime‐dependent governing equations essential for predictive modeling, optimization, and control. We propose symbolic decision trees for the data‐driven discovery of regime‐dependent governing equations.

Periodicity and the Index of Integer Partitions
Seaweed subalgebras of $\mathfrak{sl}(n)$, referred to here simply as seaweed algebras, are defined by an ordered pair of compositions of $n$. The index theory of these algebras has recently been used to define statistics on integer partitions. Given a partition $\lambda$, one natural choice of such statistic, denoted here by $\ind(\lambda)$, arises ...

A Memristor‐Based In‐Memory Computing System‐on‐Chip with Efficient Depthwise Convolution
We present a memristor‐based in‐memory computing (IMC) architecture that enables efficient depthwise convolution (DWC) acceleration. Fabricated in a system‐on‐chip with crossbar arrays, the design improves memory utilization. Experimental validation demonstrates the first hardware acceleration of DWC in IMC, achieving a digital comparable inference ...

An agentic AI‐driven decision‐support framework for prosumers is proposed, integrating PV generation, load profiling, and multihorizon optimization within a four‐agent architecture. The approach significantly reduces grid dependence, enhances self‐sufficiency and prevents system oversizing.

The Core of a Partition Function Game [PDF]
We consider partition function games and introduce new defini-tions of the core that include the effects of externalities. We assume that all players behave rationally and that all stable outcomes arising are consistent with the appropriate generalised ...

Brauer configuration algebras are path algebras induced by appropriated multiset systems. Since their structures underlie combinatorial data, the general description of some of their algebraic invariants (e.g., their dimensions or the dimensions of their

Integer partitions probability distributions [PDF]
Two closely related discrete probability distributions are introduced. In each case the support is a set of vectors in $\mathbb{R}^n$ obtained from the partitions of the fixed positive integer $n$. These distributions arise naturally when considering equally-likely random permutations on the set of $n$ letters.
