On solution-free sets of integers
Given a linear equation $\mathcal{L}$, a set $A \subseteq [n]$ is $\mathcal{L}$-free if $A$ does not contain any `non-trivial' solutions to $\mathcal{L}$. In this paper we consider the following three general questions: (i) What is the size of the largest $\mathcal{L}$-free subset of $[n]$?

A Lightweight Procedural Layer for Hybrid Experimental–Computational Workflows in Materials Science
We unveil a prototype hybrid‐workflow framework that fuses automatedcomputation with hands‐on experiments. Built atop pyiron, a lightweight, parameterized layer translates procedure descriptions into executable manual steps, syncing instrument settings, human interventions, and data capture in real‐time today.

Belief Propagation for Weighted b-Matchings on Arbitrary Graphs and its Relation to Linear Programs with Integer Solutions [PDF]
We consider the general problem of finding the minimum weight $\bm$-matching on arbitrary graphs. We prove that, whenever the linear programming (LP) relaxation of the problem has no fractional solutions, then the belief propagation (BP) algorithm ...

Slight Truncation Changes in Iron Oxide Nanocubes Strongly Affect Their Magnetic Properties
Subtle variations in nanoparticle morphology can lead to significant changes in functional properties. An automated shape‐fitting method captures minor differences in corner truncation between iron oxide nanocubes of similar sizes synthesized under identical conditions, revealing pronounced disparities in their magnetic and hyperthermia behavior ...

In this study, the closed-form wave solutions of the (4+1)-dimensional fractional Davey–Stewartson–Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation are investigated using the modified auxiliary equation method and the Jacobi elliptic function method. In the analysis, two

Magnetic Force Microscopy Signatures of Higher‐Order Skyrmions and Antiskyrmions
Magnetic force microscopy operated under vacuum conditions enables the qualitative identification of higher‐order skyrmions and antiskyrmions in Co/Ni multilayers at room temperature. Distinct stray‐field contrast signatures arise from vertical Bloch lines and complex domain‐wall configurations.

The Diophantine Equation 8x+py=z2
Let p be a fixed odd prime. Using certain results of exponential Diophantine equations, we prove that (i) if p≡±3(mod 8), then the equation 8x+py=z2 has no positive integer solutions (x,y,z); (ii) if p≡7(mod 8), then the equation has only the solutions

Secret sharing scheme with general access structure based on integer programming [PDF]
In order to simplify the access structure and ensure that all integer programming have solutions,a scheme is proposed to apply integer programming directly to the secret sharing of general access structure.By constructing integer programming, the secret ...

Stacking‐Engineered Magnonic Topology and Transport in Honeycomb Homobilayers
ABSTRACT Topological magnons have emerged as a promising platform for dissipationless bosonic transport. However, a straightforward and effective strategy to engineer such topological states in real materials has yet to be fully realized. Here, a general scheme for controlling magnonic topological states via stacking engineering in van der Waals ...

Operational Solution of Non-Integer Ordinary and Evolution-Type Partial Differential Equations
A method for the solution of linear differential equations (DE) of non-integer order and of partial differential equations (PDE) by means of inverse differential operators is proposed.
