Evolutionary interplay between viruses and R‐loops

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Viruses interact with specialized nucleic acid structures called R‐loops to influence host transcription, epigenetic states, latency, and immune evasion. This Perspective examines the roles of R‐loops in viral replication, integration, and silencing, and how viruses co‐opt or avoid these structures.

Hamilton-Poisson Realizations of the Integrable Deformations of the Rikitake System

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2017
Integrable deformations of an integrable case of the Rikitake system are constructed by modifying its constants of motions. Hamilton-Poisson realizations of these integrable deformations are given.

ANALOGY OF THE SECOND ORDER PHASE TRANSITION IN QUASI-OPTICAL MICROWAVE CAVITY RESONATOR [PDF]

open access: yesРадиофизика и электроника, 2015
In this paper for the first time we have discovered and studied the analogy of the second order phase transition in spheri-cal microwave cavities with heterogeneity in the form of a metal ball. The transition occurs between the state when the ball is sym-

Constrained lattice-field hierarchies and Toda system with Block symmetry

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, we construct the additional $W$-symmetry and ghost symmetry of two-lattice field integrable hierarchies. Using the symmetry constraint, we construct constrained two-lattice integrable systems which contain several new integrable difference

Affine Toda-Sutherland Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
A cross between two well-known integrable multi-particle dynamics, an affine Toda molecule and a Sutherland system, is introduced for any affine root system.

Neural systems integration [PDF]

open access: yesNeurocomputing, 2004
A need is identified to build models of the central nervous system that are semi-complete, applied within multiple contexts to multiple tasks, using methodologies that span multiple levels of abstraction. The issues and constraints in building such models are discussed with respect to completeness, validation, cost, scalability and robustness.

Circulating histones as clinical biomarkers in critically ill conditions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Circulating histones are emerging as promising biomarkers in critical illness due to their diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic potential. Detection methods such as ELISA and mass spectrometry provide reliable approaches for quantifying histone levels in plasma samples.

A New Discrete Integrable System Derived from a Generalized Ablowitz-Ladik Hierarchy and Its Darboux Transformation

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2012
We find an interesting phenomenon that the discrete system appearing in a reference can be reduced to the old integrable system given by Merola, Ragnisco, and Tu in another reference.

Discrete integrable systems generated by Hermite-Pad\'e approximants

open access: yes, 2015
We consider Hermite-Pad\'e approximants in the framework of discrete integrable systems defined on the lattice $\mathbb{Z}^2$. We show that the concept of multiple orthogonality is intimately related to the Lax representations for the entries of the ...

Single‐cell insights into the role of T cells in B‐cell malignancies

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Single‐cell technologies have transformed our understanding of T cell–tumor cell interactions in B‐cell malignancies, revealing new T‐cell subsets, functional states, and immune evasion mechanisms. This Review synthesizes these findings, highlighting the roles of T cells in pathogenesis, progression, and therapy response, and underscoring their ...
