In this study, we present the structure of AcrIE8.1, a previously uncharacterized anti‐CRISPR protein that inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system. Through a combination of structural and biochemical analyses, we demonstrate that AcrIE8.1 directly binds to the Cas11 subunit of the Cascade complex to inhibit the CRISPR‐Cas system.

N=2 supersymmetric gauge theories and quantum integrable systems
We study N=2 supersymmetric gauge theories on the product of a two-sphere and a cylinder. We show that the low-energy dynamics of a BPS sector of such a theory is described by a quantum integrable system, with the Planck constant set by the inverse of ...

An intracellular transporter mitigates the CO2‐induced decline in iron content in Arabidopsis shoots
This study identifies a gene encoding a transmembrane protein, MIC, which contributes to the reduction of shoot Fe content observed in plants under elevated CO2. MIC is a putative Fe transporter localized to the Golgi and endosomal compartments. Its post‐translational regulation in roots may represent a potential target for improving plant nutrition ...

A Cre‐dependent lentiviral vector for neuron subtype‐specific expression of large proteins
We designed a versatile and modular lentivector comprising a Cre‐dependent switch and self‐cleaving 2A peptide and tested it for co‐expression of GFP and a 2.8 kb gene of interest (GOI) in mouse cortical parvalbumin (PV+) interneurons and midbrain dopamine (TH+) neurons.

Accelerator-feasible N-body nonlinear integrable system
Nonlinear N-body integrable Hamiltonian systems, where N is an arbitrary number, have attracted the attention of mathematical physicists for the last several decades, following the discovery of some number of these systems.

Krylov complexity from integrability to chaos
We apply a notion of quantum complexity, called “Krylov complexity”, to study the evolution of systems from integrability to chaos. For this purpose we investigate the integrable XXZ spin chain, enriched with an integrability breaking deformation that ...

Integrable (2+1)-dimensional systems of hydrodynamic type
We describe the results that have so far been obtained in the classification problem for integrable (2+1)-dimensional systems of hydrodynamic type. The systems of Gibbons--Tsarev type are the most fundamental here.

The IQ‐compete assay for measuring mitochondrial protein import efficiencies in living yeast cells
The efficiency of mitochondrial protein import depends on the properties of the newly synthesized precursor proteins. The Import and de‐Quenching Competition (IQ‐compete) assay is a novel method to monitor the import efficiency of different proteins by fluorescence in living yeast cells.

On the Classical $W_{4}^{(2)}$ Algebra
We consider the classical \w42 algebra from the integrable system viewpoint. The integrable evolution equations associated with the \w42 algebra are constructed and the Miura maps , consequently modifications, are presented.
