Singular Integral Operators and Elliptic Boundary-Value Problems. I [PDF]

open access: yesContemporary Mathematics. Fundamental Directions, 2017
The book consists of three Parts I-III and Part I is presented here. In this book, we develop a new approach mainly based on the author’s papers. Many results are published here for the first time. Chapter 1 is introductory. The necessary background from functional analysis is given there for completeness.

A numerical boundary integral equation method for elastodynamics. I [PDF]

open access: yes, 1978
The boundary initial value problems of elastodynamics are formulated as boundary integral equations. It is shown that these integral equations may be solved by time-stepping numerical methods for the unknown boundary values.

Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.

On solvability of nonlinear boundary value problems with integral condition for the system of hyperbolic equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2015
For system of hyperbolic equations of second order a nonlinear boundary value problem with integral condition is considered. By introducing new unknown functions the investigated problem is reduced to an equivalent problem involving one-parametered ...

An Adaptive Human Pilot Model With Reaction Time Delay for Enhanced Adaptive Control in Piloted Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This work introduces an adaptive human pilot model that captures pilot time‐delay effects in adaptive control systems. The model enables the prediction of pilot–controller interactions, facilitating safer integration and improved design of adaptive controllers for piloted applications.

Solvability of (k,n-k) Conjugate Boundary Value Problems with Integral Boundary Conditions at Resonance

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2016
We investigate a (k,n-k) conjugate boundary value problem with integral boundary conditions. By using Mawhin continuation theorem, we study the solvability of this boundary value problem at resonance.

Bistable Mechanisms 3D Printing for Mechanically Programmable Vibration Control

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a 3D‐printed bistable mechanism integrated into tuned mass dampers (TMDs) for mechanically adaptive passive vibration suppression. Through optimized geometry, the bistable design provides adaptable vibration reduction across a broad range of scenarios, achieving effective vibration mitigation without complex controls or external ...

Enabling Digital Continuity in Virtual Manufacturing for Eco‐Efficiency Assessment of Lightweight Structures by Means of a Domain‐Specific Structural Mechanics Language: Requirements, Idea and Proof of Concept

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents a solver‐agnostic domain‐specific language (DSL) for computational structural mechanics that strengthens interoperability in virtual product development. Using a hierarchical data model, the DSL enables seamless exchange between diverse simulation tools and numerical methods.

Multi-term fractional-order boundary-value problems with nonlocal integral boundary conditions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2018
In this article, we introduce a class of multi-term fractional-order boundary-value problems involving nonlocal integral boundary conditions. Existence results for the given problem are obtained by means of standard tools of fixed point theory.

The generalized method of quasilinearization and nonlinear boundary value problems with integral boundary conditions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2003
The generalized method of quasilinearization is applied to obtain a monotone sequence of iterates converging uniformly and rapidly to a solution of second order nonlinear boundary value problem with nonlinear integral boundary conditions.
