Ultrasoft silicone elastomers often sacrifice surface functionality for mechanical compliance. In Mold Star, low‐molecular‐weight species form a dispersed phase that weakens the network and passivates the surface. Solvent extraction removes this phase, unexpectedly improving both extensibility and metallization performance, enabling conductive ...

Catalytically Enhanced Near Room‐Temperature Hydrogen Sensing Using Pd‐ZnO Colloidal Crystals
Pd‐decorated ZnO colloidal crystal monolayers demonstrate excellent performance across a wide hydrogen concentration range at 33°C, with high selectivity and reproducible device fabrication. The sensors show strong responses even at low‐ppm H2 concentrations and an ultra‐low detection limit of 82 ppb, indicating their suitability for diverse hydrogen ...

Mobile bridge integrity assessment
2016 IEEE SENSORS, 2016Within this work-in-progress, we aim to assess the structural integrity of bridges in the case of catastrophic events. Therefore, usually Vibration Measurement Systems (VMS) are used to extract the natural frequencies of bridges. Nevertheless, VMS in many cases are not available in a timely manner in areas struck by a disaster. In this work, we suggest

Integrated routing (and bridging)
[1989] Proceedings. 14th Conference on Local Computer Networks, 2003Distributed computing environments are now being built by interconnecting local area networks with high-speed, wide-area digital communication services such as T-1 and fraction T-1 carrier. Specialized, dedicated systems have been designed to satisfy a diverse set of requirements that are consistent with the design philosophies of computer systems and ...

Gerda Taro Bridge ‐ a semi integral composite bridge
ce/papers, 2023AbstractFor the area developments on IJburg in Amsterdam, there was a need to connect the various islands with the mainland. The connection between the ‘Centrumeiland’ and the ‘Strandeiland’ is the Gerda Taro Bridge; with ‘Bridge 2125’ as project name. The Gerda Taro Bridge is part of the bridge family ‘Buitenwater’.
