INTEGRATED CONDITIONAL MOMENT TESTS FOR PARAMETRIC CONDITIONAL DISTRIBUTIONS
Econometric Theory, 2011In this paper we propose consistent integrated conditional moment tests for the validity of parametric conditional distribution models, based on the integrated squared difference between the empirical characteristic function of the actual data and the characteristic function implied by the model.

Integral coalescence conditions
Molecular Physics, 1967The general coalescence conditions of Pack and Byers Brown for spatial eigenfunctions are used to derive integral coalescence conditions for exact wavefunctions Ψ for atoms and molecules with definite spin quantum numbers. These conditions for the special case of nodeless Ψ are equivalent to the cusp conditions for the electron and spin densities of ...

Boundary Conditions from Path Integrals
Physical Review Letters, 1988A particle moving in two dimensions in a repulsive ${r}^{\ensuremath{-}2}$ potential, and in the presence of a magnetic flux line, is examined as an example of a system for which the Schr\"odinger Hamiltonian is not essentially self-adjoint. The path-integral propagator is, nevertheless, shown to exist, and to define a unique self-adjoint extension of ...

Integrability Conditions and Carathéodory's Theorem
American Journal of Physics, 1954The theorem of Carathéodory is proved by showing that the necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of points neighboring to an arbitrary point which are inaccessible from the latter along solution curves of a linear total differential equation is that the conditions of integrability of the equation be satisfied.

We first consider an expository linear example: with conditions given as: γ, β 1,, and β 2 are assumed constants here although they can be functions of x with minor modifications to the procedure given. In decomposition format we have Lu + Ru = 0 or L−1Lu = I:−L−1 Ru or where is a two-fold pure integration with respect to x.

Integrated substation condition monitoring
2013This chapter reviews a range of monitoring systems that are currently available and the steps taken to provide the coordinated approach by developing an integrated system to present the 'complete substation picture'.
