TAUBERIAN CONDITIONS FOR $q$-CES\`{A}RO INTEGRABILITY [PDF]

open access: yesFacta Universitatis, Series: Mathematics and Informatics, 2020
Given a $q$-integrable function $f$ on $[0, \infty)$, we define $s(x)=\int_{0}^{x}f(t)d_qt$ and $\sigma(s(x))=\frac{1}{x}\int _{0}^{x} s(t)d_{q}t$ for $x>0$. It is known that if $\lim _{x \to \infty}s(x)$ exists andis equal to $A$, then $\lim _{x \to \infty}\sigma(s(x))=A$. But the converse of this implication is not true in general.

On the double Lusin condition and convergence theorem for Kurzweil-Henstock type integrals [PDF]

open access: yesMathematica Bohemica, 2016
Equiintegrability in a compact interval $E$ may be defined as a uniform integrability property that involves both the integrand $f_n$ and the corresponding primitive $F_n$.

Condition number estimates for combined potential boundary integral operators in acoustic scattering

open access: yes, 2009
We study the classical combined field integral equation formulations for time-harmonic acoustic scattering by a sound soft bounded obstacle, namely the indirect formulation due to Brakhage-Werner/Leis/Panic, and the direct formulation associated with the

Pre-processing of integral images for 3-D displays

open access: yes, 2006
This paper seeks to explore a method to accurately correct geometric distortions caused during the capture of three dimensional (3-D) integral images.

A joint motion & disparity motion estimation technique for 3D integral video compression using evolutionary strategy

open access: yes, 2007
3D imaging techniques have the potential to establish a future mass-market in the fields of entertainment and communications. Integral imaging, which can capture true 3D color images with only one camera, has been seen as the right technology to offer ...

Necessary condition on weights for maximal and integral operators with rough kernels

open access: yes, 2022
Let 0 ≤ α < n, m ∈ N and let Tα,m be an integral operator given by a kernel of the form (Formular Presented) where the Ai are invertible matrices and each ki satisfies a fractional size condition and a generalized fractional Hörmander condition.

Fragmentation arising from a distributional initial condition

open access: yes, 2010
A standard model for pure fragmentation is subjected to an initial condition of Dirac-delta type. Results for a corresponding abstract Cauchy problem are derived via the theory of equicontinuous semigroups of operators on locally convex spaces.

Knowledge integration for conditional probability assessments [PDF]

open access: yes, 1992
In the probabilistic approach to uncertainty management the input knowledge is usually represented by means of some probability distributions. In this paper we assume that the input knowledge is given by two discrete conditional probability distributions, represented by two stochastic matrices P and Q. The consistency of the knowledge base is analyzed.
