Design of fractional order proportional integral controller using stability and robustness criteria in time delay system

open access: yesMeasurement + Control, 2019
In this paper, a tuning procedure of the parameters of fractional order proportional integral controller is presented for time delay system with arbitrary order.

Conducive integral domains as pullbacks

open access: yesManuscripta Mathematica, 1986
A ''conducive domain'' is a (commutative unitary integral) domain R, with quotient field F, such that for every overring T of R, \(R\subseteq T\subsetneqq F\), the conductor \((R:T)=\{x\in F;\quad xT\subseteq R\}\) is nonzero [cf. \textit{E. Bastida} and \textit{R. Gilmer}, Mich. Math. J. 20, 79- 95 (1973; Zbl 0239.13001) and \textit{D. E.

PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells enhances bortezomib sensitivity in multiple myeloma cells by altering their metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.

Reduced vascular leakage correlates with breast carcinoma T regulatory cell infiltration but not with metastatic propensity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Integral solutions of fractional evolution equations with nondense domain

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
In this article, we study the existence of integral solutions for two classes of fractional order evolution equations with nondensely defined linear operators.

Prediction of Time Domain Vibro-Acoustic Response of Conical Shells Using Jacobi–Ritz Boundary Element Method

open access: yesAcoustics
Considering the lack of studies on the transient vibro-acoustic properties of conical shell structures, a Jacobi–Ritz boundary element method for forced vibro-acoustic behaviors of structure is proposed based on the Newmark-β integral method and the ...

Liquid biopsy epigenetics: establishing a molecular profile based on cell‐free DNA

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) fragments in plasma from cancer patients carry epigenetic signatures reflecting their cells of origin. These epigenetic features include DNA methylation, nucleosome modifications, and variations in fragmentation. This review describes the biological properties of each feature and explores optimal strategies for harnessing cfDNA ...

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and
