Singular integral equations of the second kind with generalized Cauchy-type kernels and variable coefficients

International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, 1999
The paper deals with numerical solution methods for singular integral equations of the second kind with a generalized Cauchy kernel and variable coefficients. The authors construct the solution in the form of a product of regular and weight functions.

A method of numerical solution of cauchy-type singular integral equations with generalized kernels and arbitrary complex singularities

Journal of Computational Physics, 1979
Abstract A numerical method is proposed for the approximate solution of a Cauchy-type singular integral equation (or an uncoupled system of such equations) of the first or the second kind and with a generalized kernel, in the sense that, besides the Cauchy singular part, the kernel has also a Fredholm part presenting strong singularities when both ...

An effective method for approximating the solution of singular integral equations with Cauchy kernel type

2017
In present paper, a numerical approach for solving Cauchy type singular integral equations is discussed. Lagrange interpolation with Gauss Legendre quadrature nodes and Taylor series expansion are utilized to reduce the computation of integral equations into some algebraic equations.

Systems of Singular Integral Equations with Cauchy type Kernels and Some Supplements

1958
As has already been mentioned in the introduction to this Part, the generalization of the fundamental: theorems proved in Part II to the case of a system of singular equations with Cauchy type kernels is easily done. This generalization is given in the two following sections (ยงยง 130, 131), being a reproduction without any essential alterations of the ...
