Roles of boundary and equation-of-motion terms in cosmological correlation functions

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We revisit the properties of total time-derivative terms as well as terms proportional to the free equation of motion (EOM) in a Schwinger-Keldysh formalism. They are relevant to the correct calculation of correlation functions of curvature perturbations

Three‐Dimensional Hierarchical Nanowire‐Networks with Deep‐Focus Tolerance and Adhesion Robustness for Harsh‐Environment SERS Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D nanowire‐network SERS substrate with robust adhesion is developed, featuring pronounced z‐direction optical activity, ultralow detection limit (1.5 × 10−13 M), and excellent signal uniformity (RSD < 10%). Enabled by enhanced light scattering, increased optical density of states, and structural reinforcement, the substrate demonstrates stable, high‐

Path integrals and degrees of freedom in many-body systems and relativistic field theories

open access: yes, 2004
The identification of physical degrees of freedom is sometimes obscured in the path integral formalism, and this makes it difficult to impose some constraints or to do some approximations.

Designing Asymmetric Memristive Behavior in Proton Mixed Conductors for Neuromorphic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Protonic devices that couple ionic and electronic transport are demonstrated as bioinspired neuromorphic elements. The devices exhibit rubber‐like asymmetric memristive behavior with slow voltage‐driven conductance increase and rapid relaxation, enabling simplified read–write operation.

Nonextensive black hole thermodynamics from generalized Euclidean path integral and Wick’s rotation

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
This paper extends the Euclidean path integral formalism to account for nonextensive thermodynamics. Concretely, we introduce a generalized Wick’s rotation from real time t to imaginary time $$\tau $$ τ such that, $$t\rightarrow -i f_\alpha (\tau )$$ t →

On Bounded Strictly Positive Operators of Closed Range and Some Applications to Asymptotic Hyperstability of Dynamic Systems

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
The problem discussed is the stability of two input-output feedforward and feedback relations, under an integral-type constraint defining an admissible class of feedback controllers.

Thermodynamics of Coupled Identical Oscillators within the Path Integral Formalism

open access: yes, 1996
A generalization of symmetrized density matrices in combination with the technique of generating functions allows to calculate the partition function of identical particles in a parabolic confining well.
