Exciton‐Polaritons in Nanoscale Metal‐Organic Frameworks: A Platform for the Reversible Modulation of Strong Light‐Matter Coupling via the Chemical Environment

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Strong exciton‐photon coupling is achieved by integrating porphyrin ligand‐based MOF nanoparticles in optical cavities, as evidenced by pronounced polariton branch anticrossing. The porous nature of the resonator enables precise, reversible tuning via vapor pressure, unlocking unprecedented chemical‐environment controlled dynamic polaritonic platforms ...

Recent Advances in the Korringa-Kohn-Rostoker Green Function Method

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
The Korringa-Kohn-Rostoker (KKR) Green function (GF) method is a technique for all-electron full-potential density-functional calculations. Similar to the historical Wigner-Seitz cellular method, the KKR-GF method uses a partitioning of space into atomic

Mixed‐Metal Promotion in a Manganese‐Molybdenum Oxynitride as Catalyst to Integrate C─C and C─N Coupling Reactions for the Direct Synthesis of Acetonitrile from Syngas and Ammonia

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Towards Hamiltonian formalism for string field theory and nonlocality

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
String field theories exhibit exponential suppression of interactions among the component fields at high energies due to infinite-derivative factors such as e ℓ 2 □ / 2 $$ {e}^{\ell^2\square /2} $$ in the vertices.

The complex Liouville string: Worldsheet boundaries and non-perturbative effects

open access: yesSciPost Physics
We investigate general observables of the complex Liouville string with worldsheet boundaries. We develop a universal formalism that reduces such observables to ordinary closed string amplitudes without boundaries, applicable to any worldsheet string ...

Effective Potential Formalism at Finite Temperature in Dual QCD and Deconfilnement Phase Transition [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2019
We study the pure-gauge QCD phase transition at filnite temperatures in the dual QCD theory, an effective theory of QCD based on the magnetic symmetry. We formulate the effective thermodynamical potential for filnite temperatures using the path-integral ...

Ultrafast Terahertz Field Control of the Emergent Magnetic and Electronic Interactions at Oxide Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Intense single‐cycle THz electric‐field pulses enable ultrafast control of emergent electronic and magnetic states at LaNiO3/CaMnO3 interfaces. Combined X‐ray and optical probes reveal sub‐picosecond demagnetization driven by spin‐polarized currents and slower magnetoelastic dynamics linked to spin–lattice coupling.

Giant Berry‐phase‐Driven X‐Ray Beam Translations in Strain‐Engineered Semiconductor Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Due to the Berry‐phase effect, X‐rays propagating in deformed crystals undergo large translations, interesting for X‐ray optics applications. Here, the lattice expansion observed upon H irradiation of dilute‐nitride semiconductors is exploited to engineer the deformation landscape of selectively hydrogenated GaAsN epilayers.

Spectral Tuning of Hyperbolic Shear Polaritons in Monoclinic Gallium Oxide via Isotopic Substitution

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Spectral tuning of highly directional hyperbolic shear polaritons is realized via isotopic substitution of 16O to 18O in monoclinic β$\beta$‐phase gallium oxide. A red‐shift of almost 40 cm−1 is experimentally demonstrated with near‐field imaging, corroborated by the permittivity change extracted from far‐field experiments and density functional theory.
