Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

Complex and distributional weights for sieved ultraspherical polynomials
Contour integral and distributional orthogonality of sieved ultraspherical polynomials are established for values of the parameters outside the natural range of orthogonality by positive measures on the real line.

This paper is concerned with the local asymptotic stability problem for a competitive Lotka–Volterra system with time-varying delays. By constructing the novel augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals and using the Wirtinger integral inequality, some ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

GENERALIZED POSITIVE DEFINITE FUNCTIONS AND COMPLETELY MONOTONE FUNCTIONS ON FOUNDATION SEMIGROUPS [PDF]
A general notion of completely monotone functionals on an ordered Banach algebra B into a proper H*-algebra A with an integral representation for such functionals is given.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Existence of multiple solutions for a p(x)-Laplace equation
This article shows the existence of at least three nontrivial solutions to the quasilinear elliptic equation $$ -Delta_{p(x)}u+|u|^{p(x)-2}u=f(x,u) $$ in a smooth bounded domain $Omegasubsetmathbb{R}^{n}$, with the nonlinear boundary condition ...

Sufficient Efficiency Criteria for New Classes of Non-Convex Optimization Models
In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of minimization models driven by multiple integrals as cost functionals. Concretely, we formulate and establish some sufficient efficiency criteria for a feasible point in the considered optimization ...

Functional integration over geometries [PDF]
The geometric construction of the functional integral over coset spaces ℳ/𝒢 is reviewed. The inner product on the cotangent space of infinitesimal deformations of ℳ defines an invariant distance and volume form, or functional integration measure on the full configuration space.
