080223092400-PRSA_CODES from Continuation of the Stieltjes series to the large regime by finite-part integration

open access: yes, 2023
We devise a prescription to use a novel convergent expansion in the strong-asymptotic regime for the Stieltjes integral and its generalizations (Galapon EA. 2017 Proc. R. Soc A 473, 20160567) to sum the associated divergent series of Stieltjes across all

Dipole‐Manipulated Built‐In Electric Field Enables Ultrafast Charge Separation in Perylene Diimide Polymers for Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Molecular dipole engineering in dendritic perylene diimide polymers through nitrogen‐rich heterocyclic linkers amplifies the built‐in electric field, enabling sub‐picosecond charge separation and efficient multi‐electron accumulation. This structure–dynamics–performance relationship establishes a versatile design strategy for high‐performance organic ...

Funnel Equations and Multivalued Integration Problems for Control Synthesis

open access: yes, 1989
This paper indicates a sequence of evolutionary "funnel equations" with set-valued solutions which are crucial for the construction of respective feed-back control strategies along the schemes introduced by N.N. Krasovskii.

A Disaggregation Strategy for Nanopesticide Fabrication: Investigating the Impact of Nanosizing on Pesticide Biointeractions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To explore the impact of nanosizing on pesticide biointeractions, a 7‐nm (average) emamectin benzoate nanopesticide without nanocarriers or surfactants is fabricated via HOAc‐mediated disaggregation. Nanosizing enhances bioactivity against Megalurothrips usitatus and Meloidogyne enterolobii and improves plant penetration.

Pesticide safety practice and its public health risk in African regions: systematic review and meta-analysis

open access: yesBMC Public Health
Background Although pesticides play an integral role in food security and preventing public health from vector-borne diseases, inappropriate handling and continual use of restricted organochlorine pesticides pose short- and long-term adverse effects and ...

Field‐Frustrated Cooperative Distortions: Suppressing Jahn‐Teller Ordering via Microwave Annealing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Microwave annealing decouples local Jahn‐Teller distortions from long‐range cooperative ordering in CuFe2O4, stabilizing a metastable cubic phase that remains locally distorted yet globally symmetry‐frustrated. Synchrotron XRD, PDF, XPS, and in situ thermal cycling reveal how non‐equilibrium MW‐phonon interactions suppress cooperative orbital‐lattice ...
