Geometric Landau analysis and symbol bootstrap

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We investigate how the positive geometry framework for loop integrands in N = 4 $$ \mathcal{N}=4 $$ super Yang-Mills theory constrains the structure of the integrated answers.

Chern classes of integral submanifolds of some contact manifolds

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2002
A complex subbundle of the normal bundle to an integral submanifold of the contact distribution in a Sasakian manifold is given. The geometry of this bundle is investigated and some results concerning its Chern classes are obtained.

Differential Equations and Integral Geometry

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematics, 1997
Let \(X\) be a smooth manifold of dimension \(n\), and \({\mathcal M}\) a system of linear partial differential equations on \(X\). Denote by \(\text{Sol} ({\mathcal M},C^\infty(X))\) the space of smooth solutions of \({\mathcal M}\). Let \({\mathcal N}\) be a linear system of PDE on a manifold \(Y\), \(K(x,y) dy\) be an \((n,0)\)-form on \(X\times Y\)

Revisiting localization for BPS black hole entropy

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Macroscopic computation of the degeneracy / index of a BPS black hole requires carrying out string theory path integral over the near horizon geometry of the black hole.

Notes on Transformations in Integrable Geometry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We describe the gauge-theoretic approach to transformations in integrable geometry through discussion of two classical examples: surfaces of constant negative Gauss curvature and isothermic surfaces. These are purely expository notes written to accompany some lectures I gave in Fukuoka in May 2015.

Pseudo-Derivative and Pseudo-Integral of Fractional Order

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Extension, 2014
Integral and differential of fractional order are important notion that is often used in dealing with Frechet geometry. Based on pseudo-operations given by monotone and continuous function g, we study pseudo-derivative and pseudo-integral of ...

Logarithmic corrections for near-extremal black holes

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We present the computation of logarithmic corrections to near-extremal black hole entropy from one-loop Euclidean gravity path integral around the near-horizon geometry. We extract these corrections employing a suitably modified heat kernel method, where

Hollow-grams: generalized entanglement wedges from the gravitational path integral

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Recently, Bousso and Penington (BP) made a proposal for the entanglement wedge associated to a gravitating bulk region. In this paper, we derive this proposal in time-reflection symmetric settings using the gravitational path integral.
