Integral group ring of the Suzuki sporadic simple group [PDF]
Using the Luthar-Passi method, we investigate the classical Zassenhaus conjecture for the normalized unit group of the integral group ring of the Suzuki sporadic simple group Suz.

Central units of integral group rings [PDF]
We give an explicit description for a basis of a subgroup of finite index in the group of central units of the integral group ring $\Z G$ of a finite abelian-by-supersolvable group such that every cyclic subgroup of order not a divisor of 4 or 6 is subnormal in $G$. The basis elements turn out to be a natural product of conjugates of Bass units.

Nilpotent decomposition in integral group rings [PDF]
Postprint version. In the second paragraph of Section 6, the statement "U(G)/pU(G) is a torsion group" is corrected by "U(G)/pU(G) is generated by torsion images of unipotents." Some minor typos are ...

Integral Group Rings with Nilpotent Unit Groups [PDF]
Let R be a ring with unit element and G a finite group. We denote by RG the group ring of the group G over R and by U(RG) the group of units of this group ring. The study of the nilpotency of U(RG) has been the subject of several papers.

Motivic classes and the integral Hodge Question
We prove that the obstruction to the integral Hodge Question factors through the completion of the Grothendieck ring of varieties for the dimension filtration.

Fox derivatives: a unique connection between group presentations and the integral group ring [PDF]
We give a criterion to determine whether generators can be removed from a finite presentation via Tietze transformations. We prove that for a generator in a pre- sentation ⟨X|R⟩ to be removable, there must exist a word in the normal closure of relators ...

Compacting oblivious agents on dynamic rings [PDF]
In this paper we investigate dynamic networks populated by autonomous mobile agents. Dynamic networks are networks whose topology can change continuously, at unpredictable locations and at unpredictable times.

Integral Group Rings of Some p-Groups [PDF]
1. Introduction. The group of units, , of the integral group ring of a finite non-abelian group G is difficult to determine. For the symmetric group of order 6 and the dihedral group of order 8 this was done by Hughes-Pearson [3] and Polcino Milies [5] respectively.

Global and local properties of finite groups with only finitely many central units in their integral group ring [PDF]
The aim of this article is to explore global and local properties of finite groups whose integral group rings have only trivial central units, so-called cut groups.
