The Real and Complex Techniques in Harmonic Analysis from the Point of View of Covariant Transform

open access: yes, 2014
This note reviews complex and real techniques in harmonic analysis. We describe a common source of both approaches rooted in the covariant transform generated by the affine group.

On Some Grüss-Type Fractional Inequalities Using Saigo Fractional Integral Operator

open access: yes, 2014
The main aim of this paper is to establish some new fractional integral inequalities of Gruss-type via the Saigo fractional integral operator.

ShcD adaptor protein drives invasion of triple negative breast cancer cells by aberrant activation of EGFR signaling

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identified adaptor protein ShcD as upregulated in triple‐negative breast cancer and found its expression to be correlated with reduced patient survival and increased invasion in cell models. Using a proteomic screen, we identified novel ShcD binding partners involved in EGFR signaling pathways.

Conjugate operators to operators of stochastic integration [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
The conjugate problem in stochastic optimal control can be formulated in terms of operators conjugated to the operators of stochastic integration [1, 2, 3]. In this paper we study some of such operators acting on the spaces of progressively measurable random functions.

Inhibitor of DNA binding‐1 is a key regulator of cancer cell vasculogenic mimicry

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Elevated expression of transcriptional regulator inhibitor of DNA binding 1 (ID1) promoted cancer cell‐mediated vasculogenic mimicry (VM) through regulation of pro‐angiogenic and pro‐cancerous genes (e.g. VE‐cadherin (CDH5), TIE2, MMP9, DKK1). Higher ID1 expression also increased metastases to the lung and the liver.

Discrete Integrals and Axiomatically Defined Functionals

open access: yesAxioms, 2012
Several discrete universal integrals on finite universes are discussed from an axiomatic point of view. We start from the first attempt due to B. Riemann and cover also most recent approaches based on level dependent capacities.

A real analyticity result for a nonlinear integral operator

open access: yes, 2013
We consider a nonlinear integral operator which involves a Nemytskij type operator and which appears in the applications as a pull-back of layer potential operators.

Determination of ADP/ATP translocase isoform ratios in malignancy and cellular senescence

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The individual functions of three isoforms exchanging ADP and ATP (ADP/ATP translocases; ANTs) on the mitochondrial membrane remain unclear. We developed a method for quantitatively differentiating highly similar human ANT1, ANT2, and ANT3 using parallel reaction monitoring. This method allowed us to assess changes in translocase levels during cellular

Regular classes involving a generalized shift plus fractional Hornich integral operator

open access: yesBoletim da Sociedade Paranaense de Matemática, 2018
The Hornich space is the set of all locally univalent and analytic functions Á on the open unit disk such that argÁ0 is bounded. Here, we introduce a generalized integral operator in the open unit disk.
