Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Mathematics Teacher Candidates’ Multiple Representation and Conceptual-Procedural Knowledge Level in Definite Integral

open access: yesGaziantep Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Dergisi, 2010
Learning a subject conceptually requires establishing a relationship between the conceptual and the operational knowledge. Definite integral, being one of the topics of the calculus course is where learners face extensive learning difficulties mostly ...

Regularized Integral Representations of the Reciprocal Gamma Function

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2019
This paper establishes a real integral representation of the reciprocal Gamma function in terms of a regularized hypersingular integral along the real line. A regularized complex representation along the Hankel path is derived.

The role of histone modifications in transcription regulation upon DNA damage

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This review discusses the critical role of histone modifications in regulating gene expression during the DNA damage response (DDR). By modulating chromatin structure and recruiting repair factors, these post‐translational modifications fine‐tune transcriptional programmes to maintain genomic stability.

Integration of circadian and hypoxia signaling via non‐canonical heterodimerization

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CLOCK, BMAL1, and HIFs are basic helix‐loop‐helix and Per‐Arnt‐Sim domain (bHLH‐PAS) proteins, which function as transcription factors. bHLH‐PAS proteins are designated in two classes. Many class I proteins are regulated by environmental signals via their PAS domains, but such signals have not been identified for all.

The Symmetrical H_q-Semiclassical Orthogonal Polynomials of Class One

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2009
We investigate the quadratic decomposition and duality to classify symmetrical H_q-semiclassical orthogonal q-polynomials of class one where H_q is the Hahn's operator.

Weighted Anisotropic Integral Representations of Holomorphic Functions in the Unit Ball of 𝐶𝑛

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2010
We obtain weighted integral representations for spaces of functions holomorphic in the unit ball 𝐵𝑛 and belonging to area-integrable weighted 𝐿𝑝-classes with “anisotropic” weight function of the type ∏𝑛𝑖=1(1−|𝑤1|2−|𝑤2|2−⋯−|𝑤𝑖|2)𝛼𝑖, 𝑤=(𝑤1,𝑤2,…,𝑤𝑛)∈𝐵𝑛. The
