Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Importin 7 mediates the nuclear import of HIV‐1 integrase via a specific interacting interface

Accurate and noninvasive prostate cancer detection using plasma‐derived extracellular vesicle RNA

Plasma extracellular vesicles were captured with WGA‐conjugated magnetic beads and profiled for RNA biomarkers. A three‐RNA panel (NM_024955, NR_047469, and NR_002564) distinguished prostate cancer from healthy controls and benign prostatic hyperplasia, supporting a simple, noninvasive approach to improve prostate cancer detection.

Structural studies and functional engineering of NanX: an anhydro‐sialic acid transporter from Escherichia coli

Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. Structural and biochemical insights into the thermostable esterase Ta0887 from Thermoplasma acidophilum
