FDA‐MIMO Range and Angle Estimation Based on Hybrid Tensor Ring and CP Decomposition

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The graphical abstract illustrates the RMSE performance of range and angle estimation versus SNR for different array configurations. The proposed method consistently achieves lower estimation error than existing approaches and closely matches the Cramér‐Rao bound across the entire SNR range, demonstrating its superior accuracy.

Compressive TDOA Estimation Method Based on Amplitude Phase Clustering in Time‐Frequency Domain

open access: yesIET Signal Processing, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In the field of signal processing, modulation signals, including phase shift keying (PSK) and quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), can significantly enhance the signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR) through aliasing transmission following clustering and sorting.

Advertising: Company Asset or Liability? A Systematic Literature Review on Deception

open access: yesInternational Journal of Consumer Studies, Volume 50, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Research on deception in advertising has expanded over the last 50 years, yet existing reviews focus on specific forms of deception in advertising and rarely integrate the individual, organisational and contextual factors that shape deception in advertising.

Lost in Translation: Harmonizing Terminology and Defining Mathematical Tools for Panel Optimization

open access: yesCytometry Part A, Volume 107, Issue 12, Page 793-816, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Spectral flow cytometry has evolved from a contentious idea into a mainstay of high‐parameter single‐cell analysis, yet its vocabulary (and the statistical reasoning behind it) remains a patchwork of overlapping, sometimes contradictory terms.

A guide to characterizing the dynamic mitochondria–endoplasmic reticulum contact sites

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, Volume 292, Issue 24, Page 6497-6511, December 2025.
The dynamism, heterogeneity, and functional complexity of mitochondria–endoplasmic reticulum contacts (MERCs) require combined methodological approaches to offset limitations of individual techniques. Here, we review available tools and methodologies for MERC research, outline key technical challenges, and discuss how recent advances deliver ...

The Bayesian sinking in Porticello: a predictable convective windstorm?

open access: yesWeather, Volume 80, Issue 11, Page 365-373, November 2025.
The meteorological phenomenon that led to the Bayesian yacht sinking in Sicily at 0206 utc on 19 August 2024 is here investigated. A thunderstorm occurred during the sinking, but uncertainties exist regarding whether a waterspout or a downburst affected the ship. An in‐depth analysis of available observations highlighted that the ship was likely struck
