Obstacles and opportunities for sustainable consumption: A comprehensive conceptual model, literature review, and research agenda

open access: yesJournal of Consumer Psychology, Volume 35, Issue 4, Page 637-662, October 2025.
Abstract Meaningful shifts in consumption habits are essential to mitigate climate change and reduce global environmental degradation. Yet, despite the climate urgency and growing consumer concerns, the widespread adoption of sustainable behaviors has proven difficult. Why is this the case?

Golay complementary sequence and constant envelope orthogonal frequency‐division multiplexing‐based for integrated sensing and communication with mutual information analysis

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation
The design of waveforms plays a critical role in integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems. An ISAC waveform with a 0dB peak‐to‐average power ratio (PAPR) is designed by combining a Golay complementary sequence with a constant envelope ...

Occupational Mite Allergy and Asthma: An EAACI Task Force Report

open access: yesAllergy, Volume 80, Issue 9, Page 2484-2500, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Mite sensitization is notable in several occupational settings. Elevated house dust mite concentrations are primarily detected in workplaces where people congregate and are active. Allergy to storage mites and spider mites has commonly been reported in agricultural and various food processing occupations.

Christian Bohr. Discoverer of Homotropic and Heterotopic Allostery

open access: yesActa Physiologica, Volume 241, Issue S734, July 2025.
ABSTRACT This essay recounts and revisits the scientific contributions of Christian Bohr, highlighting his pivotal role in discovering allostery about 120 years ago. Bohr's meticulous experimentation led to identifying two distinct forms of allostery: homotropic (single‐ligand) and heterotropic (multi‐ligand), the latter widely recognized as the Bohr ...

IM-OFDM ISAC Outperforms OFDM ISAC by Combining Multiple Sensing Observations

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Vehicular Technology
Index Modulated Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (IM-OFDM) based Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) is potentially capable of outperforming Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) ISAC, since Index Modulation (IM ...

The multiple values of nature show the lack of a coherent theory of value—In any context

open access: yesPeople and Nature, Volume 7, Issue 6, Page 1272-1285, June 2025.
Abstract Pathways to sustainability require a broader and fuller representation of the multiple values of nature in policy and practice. In this People and Nature special feature entitled ‘The Multiple Values of Nature’, researchers interpreted all three key words differently: multiple, values and nature.

Simultaneous Perfect Anomalous Reflection and Angle of Arrival Sensing in Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 13, May 5, 2025.
A reconfigurable intelligent surface is proposed that can simultaneously anomalously reflect the light and sense the angle of arrival. An in situ optimization of either the currents flowing on array elements or the far field in the receiver direction realizes anomalous reflection and suppresses parasitic scattering.
