INTEGRABLE SYSTEMS WITH IMPURITY [PDF]

open access: yesLie Theory and Its Applications in Physics V, 2004
After reviewing some basic properties of RT algebras, which appear to be the natural framework to deal with integrable systems in presence of an impurity, we show how any integrable system (including these possessing translation invariance) can be promoted to an integrable system with an impurity which can reflect and transmit particles.

Supporting Survivor‐Centered Care Through Digital Health Integration

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Survivors of childhood cancer face barriers to receiving guideline‐based, long‐term follow‐up care. Two digital tools, Passport for Care (PFC) and Cancer SurvivorLink (SurvivorLink), address complementary gaps by enabling tailored survivorship care plan (SCP) generation, updating, storage, and sharing.

Economics of building-integrated solar thermal systems

open access: yes, 2017
S.126-131This paper presents a general methodology to evaluate the economic benefits of building-integrated solar thermal systems (BIST). It defines cost categories, which are useful to compare variants of building envelopes on different levels of detail.

Integrating Information Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Businesses often have heterogeneous information systems which have diverse ‘meanings’ embedded in them. Consequently, systems have difficulties in talking to each other, and users cannot interact with them effectively. There are semantic barriers which inhibit a seamless flow of information and the ability to reuse knowledge.
