We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Multi‐step incremental ADC with extended binary counting
A multi‐step incremental ADC (IADC) with extended binary counting is proposed. It achieves high accuracy by splitting one conversion cycle into two serial steps. During the first step, the ADC works as a first‐order IADC (IADC1).

Implicit Four-Point Hybrid Block Integrator for the Simulations of Stiff Models
Over the years, the systematic search for stiff model solvers that are near-optimal has attracted the attention of many researchers. An attempt has been made in this research to formulate an implicit Four-Point Hybrid Block Integrator (FPHBI) for the ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Open-Loop System Identification of MIMO Integrator Model
This paper considers the open-loop system identification of a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) integrator model which is a multiplication of a constant matrix, called the action matrix, and the integrator. Our problem is to estimate the action matrix from

Analysis and improvement of fourth‐order generalised integrator based phase‐locked loop
The fourth‐order generalised integrator is very suitable for single‐phase phase‐locked loop because it can provide orthogonal signal conveniently and block harmonic voltages effectively. In the conventional fourth‐order generalised integrator based phase‐

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
