Exponential Stability of Higher Order Fractional Neutral Stochastic Differential Equation Via Integral Contractors

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 48, Issue 6, Page 6425-6446, April 2025.
ABSTRACT The well‐posedness results for mild solutions to the fractional neutral stochastic differential system with Rosenblatt process with Hurst index Ĥ∈12,1$$ \hat{H}\in \left(\frac{1}{2},1\right) $$ is discussed in this article. To demonstrate the results, the concept of bounded integral contractors is combined with the stochastic result and ...

Free Surface Waves in Electrohydrodynamics With a Prescribed Vorticity Distribution

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Traditionally, the study of free surface flows assumed irrotationality to simplify matters, and the results seemed to have great success, notably with the Korteweg‐de Vries(KdV) equation. In the past decade, there have been attempts to remove this seemingly strong condition and replace it with a global constant vorticity equivalent to a linear

On the qualitative behaviors of Volterra-Fredholm integro differential equations with multiple time-varying delays

open access: yesArab Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences
This article considers a Volterra-Fredholm integro-differential equation including multiple time-varying delays. The aim of this article is to study the uniqueness of solution, the Ulam–Hyers–Rassias stability and the Ulam–Hyers stability of the Volterra-

Maximum principles for integro-differential parabolic operators

open access: yesDifferential and Integral Equations, 1995
The parabolic integro-differential operator in a cylinder \(Q_ T= \Omega\times (0, T)\), where \(\Omega\) is either a bounded or an unbounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^ d\), \(T\leq +\infty\), \[ {\mathcal A}(x, t, \partial_ x, \partial_ t) u(x, t)= \partial_ t u(x, t)- a_{ij} \partial_{ij} u(x, t)+ a_ i \partial_ i u(x, t)+ a_ 0 u(x, t)- Iu(x, t) \] is ...

A Peridynamic Framework for Modeling Progressive Failure in Porous Sandstone Indentation

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical and Analytical Methods in Geomechanics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A state‐based peridynamic model is proposed to simulate the failure mechanisms in porous rocks, using Bentheim sandstone as a specific example. Experimental observations reveal a transition from brittle to ductile failure under increasing triaxial compression. This behavior is attributed to pore compaction. The peridynamic model is enhanced to

A note on Hadamard fractional differential equations with varying coefficients and their applications in probability

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper we show several connections between special functions arising from generalized COM-Poisson-type statistical distributions and integro-differential equations with varying coefficients involving Hadamard-type operators. New analytical results

BIEN: A biodiversity informatics ecosystem advancing open and reproducible workflows for plant observation, plot and trait data

open access: yesMethods in Ecology and Evolution, EarlyView.
Abstract The rapid expansion of biodiversity data presents new opportunities to understand and forecast biosphere dynamics. However, disparate and dispersed data, taxonomic and geographic inconsistencies, pervasive quality issues, and a lack of reproducable workflows hinder synthesis, introduce biases and limit accurate assessment of biodiversity ...

On the Behaviour of Singular Semigroups in Intermediate and Interpolation Spaces and Its Applications to Maximal Regularity for Degenerate Integro-Differential Evolution Equations

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
For those semigroups, which may have power type singularities and whose generators are abstract multivalued linear operators, we characterize the behaviour with respect to a certain set of intermediate and interpolation spaces.

Study on integro-differential equation with generalized p-Laplacian operator [PDF]

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2012
Abstract We tackle the existence and uniqueness of the solution for a kind of integro-differential equations involving the generalized p-Laplacian operator with mixed boundary conditions. This is achieved by using some results on the ranges for maximal monotone operators and pseudo-monotone operators. The method used in this paper extends and

Local regularity for parabolic nonlocal operators

open access: yes, 2013
Weak solutions to parabolic integro-differential operators of order $\alpha \in (\alpha_0, 2)$ are studied. Local a priori estimates of H\"older norms and a weak Harnack inequality are proved. These results are robust with respect to $\alpha \nearrow 2$.
