The Made‐in‐Africa Evaluation framework: A decolonial approach to program evaluation

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract The Made in Africa Evaluation (MAE) framework is a decolonial approach to program evaluation developed by African evaluators over the past 14 years. MAE may be appropriate to community psychologists who practice program evaluation or conduct research in Africa, but little is known about its implementation.

Machine‐Learning‐Guided Discovery of Boron‐Free Narrowband Blue Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence Emitters

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A data‐driven discovery engine—exhaustive enumeration of carbazole‐containing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (Cz‐PAHs) followed by machine learning—identifies boron‐free, narrowband blue thermally activated delayed fluorescence emitters for organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs).

Radical‐Mediated Dispersion Breaks Aggregation Limits in Carbon Thermoelectrics

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
We report a rationally designed small molecule (OTN) that effectively disperses SWCNTs via π–π and radical‐radical interactions, yielding hybrid films with a record power factor of 30.1 µW cm−1 K−2 and excellent flexibility. A nine‐leg device achieves a record normalized power density of 0.653 µW cm−2 K−2, setting a new benchmark for carbon‐based ...
