In this real‐word experience in 789 patients with cryptogenic stroke, enrolled in 20 centers in Italy andimplanted with insertable cardiac monitors, subclinical atrial fibrillation (SCAF) was diagnosed in 229 (29.0%) subjects, with a cumulative detection rate of 37.0% (IQR: 32.9‐41.5%) 48 months after the stroke.
