Intelligent Reflecting Surface Aided Vehicular Edge Computing

GLOBECOM 2022 - 2022 IEEE Global Communications Conference, 2022
Due to the rapid increase of connected devices and network traffic, the data transport from end-user devices to destination (connected device, cloud, edge servers, etc) can be interrupted because of obstacles and problems. In this paper, we propose to integrate edge servers with the intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) in a vehicular edge computing ...

Circuit Modelling of Reflecting Intelligent Surfaces

2021 IEEE 22nd International Workshop on Signal Processing Advances in Wireless Communications (SPAWC), 2021
We present an accurate and simple analytical model for the computation of the reflection coefficient amplitude and phase of Reflecting Intelligent Surfaces (RIS). The proposed approach takes into account mutual coupling among cells, the effect of incidence angle and polarization of impinging electro-magnetic waves.
