Intelligent humans, intelligent systems, and intelligent human-systems
Proceedings IEEE International Symposium on Intelligent Control 1988, 2003The author examines some notions of what it means to control a system. Within this context, he examines some of the competing concerns relative to intelligence in systems. He examines why information and communications are irretrievably linked to successful use of intelligent systems by humans.

Research on Intelligent Level Evaluation System of Intelligent System
2009 Fifth International Conference on Natural Computation, 2009In order to answer whether there is any intelligence in intelligent systems and how much intelligence do they have if they do have some, we build an evaluation system to evaluate intelligent level of intelligent systems. We break the evaluation process down to system description, evaluation index distribution, distribution test, intelligence ...

Intelligent Data Analysis of Intelligent Systems
2010We consider the value of structured priors in the analysis of data sampled from complex adaptive systems. We propose that adaptive dynamics entails basic constraints (memory, information processing) and features (optimization and evolutionary history) that serve to significantly narrow search spaces and candidate parameter values.

Intelligence and information systems
Journal of Information Science, 1990The paper considers the nature of intelligent systems, and the kmds of information skill that need to be incorporated in intelligent information software. It then proceeds to consider the online search process and the problems involved in provid ing intelligent aid for the inexperienced searcher.

During the last four decades the field of artificial intelligence has made impressive progress. It is true that not all the promises generated during the enthusiasm of the early years have yet been delivered. But the fact remains that today's systems do provide impressive levels of machine intelligence.

Proceedings. Vol.1. Sixth Brazilian Symposium on Neural Networks, 2002
Summary form only given. In this article techniques are developed together for use of hypermedia systems with techniques of artificial intelligence. The hypermedia intelligent system (HIS) uses the language HTML and, consequently, such related systems as Java, JavaScript, VBScript, Shockwave, among others.

System Integration for Intelligent Systems
2013The paper describes a model of system integration for designing intelligent systems. Systems for services and industries are expected to be coordinated internally and harmonized with the external environment and users. However, integration of the systems is difficult in general since the systems contain a number of processes with multiple tasks in ...
