Assessment of Bone Height Changes Based on the Cone-Beam Computed Tomography Following Intentional Replantation for Periodontally Compromised Teeth. [PDF]
Background and Objectives; This study aimed to evaluate the clinical outcomes and bone changes before and after intentional replantation (IR) for periodontally compromised teeth by using cone–beam computed tomography (CBCT).

Intentional replantation combined root resection therapy for the treatment of type III radicular groove with two roots: A case report. [PDF]
BACKGROUND A radicular groove is an anatomic malformation that usually initiates at the central fossa, extending along the root at varying lengths and depths and predisposes the involved tooth to a severe periodontal defect. Severe grooves that extend to

Intentional replantation of endodontically treated teeth
This article reports 31 cases of intentional replantation with an overall success rate of 80.6% with six recorded failures. Survival times varied from 1 day to 22 years. A second mandibular molar that failed after 3 weeks was replanted successfully a second time with no signs of failure after a 46-month follow-up period.

A Novel Approach for Orthodontic Extrusion Prior to Intentional Replantation: A Case Report
AIM This case report aimed to present a novel surgical technique involving orthodontics luxation of the offended tooth using miniscrew prior to performing intentional replantation (IR) to remove an extruded separated instrument that injured the inferior ...

Management of type IIIb dens invaginatus using a combination of root canal treatment, intentional replantation, and surgical therapy: A case report. [PDF]
BACKGROUND Type Ⅲb dens invaginatus (DI) with a lateral canal located at the mid-third of the root is rarely reported. Here, we report a rare case of type Ⅲb DI in the left upper anterior tooth with a lateral canal that led to persistent periodontitis ...

Intentional Replantation to Seal Apical and Lateral Canals in A Failed Endodontically Treated Tooth: A Case Report [PDF]
Intentional replantation (IR) is often viewed as a last-resort intervention for failed endodontically treated teeth. This case report presents the successful management of symptomatic apical and lateral lesions through IR, highlighting its potential as ...

Intentional replantation of a mandibular second molar with atypical internal apical morphology: A case report [PDF]
Periodontitis after endodontic treatment is mainly caused by a persistent bacterial infection at the root canal level and in the periradicular tissues. However, there is a 5% to 15% prevalence where bacteria can persist in adequate endodontic treatments ...

Intentional Replantation for a Right Mandibular Premolar
The present study reports a case of intentional replantation (IR) for a right mandibular second premolar (#45). For the present case, root canal retreatment was first considered after removal of the metal post and core. When the metal post and core could not be removed from #45, micro-apical surgery or intentional tooth replantation was performed.
