Effect of inter-row spacing on the production of tagasaste and associated pastures
Australian Journal of Experimental Agriculture, 1994Tagasaste (Chamaecytisus proliferus (L. fil.) Link ssp. palmensis) was planted at 4 densities (2500, 5000, 10000, 20000 plants/ha with row spacings of 0.5, 1, 2 or 4 m). Plants were 1 m apart within rows for all densities, The tagasaste was harvested at about 6-monthly intervals in February and August over a 5-year period at a height of 0.5 m.

Effect of different inter-row spacings on faba beans of different form
Field Crops Research, 1989Abstract Plants with different morphologies may exploit the space available to them more or less effectively. Differences in inter-plant competition were examined in a field trial with determinate and semi-determinate varieties of faba bean (Vicia faba L.; cv.'s Ticol and Alfred, respectively) grown at three different inter-row widths.

Dependence of seed maize yield on inter-row spacing and sowing density
Acta Agronomica Hungarica, 2003The seed maize hybrid ZP 677 was tested under irrigated conditions on the DPP Maglic estate in Backi Maglic during 2000 and 2001. Sowing the female component of the hybrid ZP 677 at an inter-row spacing of 70 cm resulted in both higher yield (4.55 t ha-1) and higher number of seeds per unit area (15,407,000) in comparison to sowing at an inter-row ...

The influence of inter-row spacing and plant population on the yield of peanuts at Katherine, N.T
Australian Journal of Experimental Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, 1962In 1957-58 and 1958-59, Virginia Bunch and Natal Common peanuts were sown on Tippers clay loam at Katherine, N.T., in a multifactorial experiment at two inter-row spacings (2 ft and 3 ft), four plant populations (10, 20, 40 and 80 thousand per acre) and two dates.

Volume 2A: Turbomachinery, 2015
The aerodynamic performances of an axial turbine are affected by the distance between the stator and the rotor. Previous studies have shown different trends, depending mainly on whether the turbine is subsonic or not. The present paper aims at improving the understanding of the effect of rows spacing on the flow through a transonic turbine.

SUMMARYIn field trials a population of 61,700 maize plants/ha produced higher total dry matter and grain yields than the conventional 36,000 plants/ha. There was no difference in yields with inter-row spacings of 45, 60 or 90 cm, regardless of population levels. Weed suppression was increased by the higher population even though the entire experimental

Field trial on cotton (Vega cultivar) was carried out during 2007-2012 on leached vertisols under irrigation regime of sprinkling – 75 % of the field moisture capacity (FMC) for the soil layer of 0 – 40 cm. The trial included the following variants: Factor A) Irrigation with lower rates: 1). Non-irrigated variant – for standard. 2).
