On Schopenhauer's Debt to Spinoza1

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Philosophy, EarlyView.
Abstract Schopenhauer offers ‘nature is not divine but demonic’ as a direct rebuttal of Spinoza's pantheism, his identification of ‘nature’ with ‘God’. And so, one would think, he ought to have been immune to the ‘Spinozism’ that became, as Heine called it, ‘the unofficial religion’ of the age.

On-line diagnosis of inter-turn short circuit fault for DC brushed motor

ISA Transactions, 2018
Extensive research effort has been made in fault diagnosis of motors and related components such as winding and ball bearing. In this paper, a new concept of inter-turn short circuit fault for DC brushed motors is proposed to include the short circuit ratio and short circuit resistance.

Inter Turn Short Circuit Fault Analysis of Five-Phase PMSM

2021 IEEE 4th International Conference on Computing, Power and Communication Technologies (GUCON), 2021
Multiphase machines especially Five Phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) have experienced continuous growth in recent times and are used in high power applications like ship propulsion, locomotive traction, aircraft, electric vehicles, etc., due to its less torque ripples, high fault tolerance, and robustness.

Inter turn short-circuit fault research on generator rotor windings

ICEMS'2001. Proceedings of the Fifth International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (IEEE Cat. No.01EX501), 2002
Based on the fault characteristics, where the exciting current increases and the output reactive power reduces, when an inter turn short-circuit occurs in rotor windings, and considering the saturated situation of generator, a fault characteristic mathematical model of inter turn short-circuits on generator rotor windings is founded.
